School District 112 is proud to serve the majority of students living in Victoria. It also serves students in Chanhassen, Chaska and Carver. This family-friendly school system values parents as partners in the education of their children. The focus in every classroom is to “prepare learners to achieve their personal best.” Victoria students living in District 112 currently attend these schools: Kindergarten – Early Childhood Center; Grades 1-5 – Jonathan Elementary School; Grades 6-8 – Chaska Middle School East; Grade 9 – Pioneer Ridge Freshmen Center; Grades 10-12 – Chaska High School. District 112 Map In September, 2005, District 112 will open the doors of its newest elementary school – Victoria Elementary, located off County Rd 11 at 9300 Red Fox Drive. This school is under construction now, both physically and programmatically, and is being planned as a true “community school”, acknowledging that all of us are learners, no matter our age. The District 112 Community Education program exists to serve all ages and is working in cooperation with Victoria’s core team of teachers as well as the City and community organizations to ensure all Victoria residents find learning opportunities at Victoria Elementary. The western portion of Victoria is served by Waconia Public Schools #110. Holy Family Catholic High SchoolHoly Family Catholic High School is a co-educational college preparatory school committed to helping young men and women realize their academic and spiritual potential. The school opened its doors in the fall of 2000 to an inaugural school of freshman and sophomore students. Today, the school is home to all students grades nine through twelve, offering a complete extra-curricular program, as well as additional opportunities such as Campus Ministry and Jazz Band. It is the resolve of Holy Family Catholic High School to ensure the complete formation of each student. To that end, classrooms reflect the most up to date architectural and academic design to meet the needs of 21st century students. The school features a chapel, two 20 classroom learning centers, spacious art and music centers, and multiple athletic facilities including a field house complex, a multipurpose activity center, weight training and physical therapy centers, and outdoor football/track, soccer, baseball and softball fields. A state of the art performing arts and auditorium are also slated for construction.
